The College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM) celebrated World Women’s Day 2025 with a heartfelt tribute to women in the culinary world. With the theme of “Empowering Women Through Culinary Excellence,” the event spotlighted the creativity, skill, and strength of women from both professional and home kitchen backgrounds.
Organized by the COTHM Culinary Arts Department and held at the Lahore campus, the event was proudly supported by K&N’s, Cheezious, Nextion, and Paola’s Cosa Nostra and conducted in collaboration with the Chefs Association of Pakistan (CAP).
Two Culinary Competitions: One Purpose — Empowerment
The event’s highlights were two dedicated culinary competitions:
- Student Women’s Culinary Competition
Female culinary students of COTHM displayed advanced techniques, elegant plating, and bold flavors, showcasing their professional training and innovation.
- Homechefs Culinary Competition
A heartwarming platform for passionate home-based women chefs, many of whom stepped into the culinary spotlight for the first time, offering a unique blend of tradition, creativity, and personal flair.
