Chefs’ Association of Pakistan Unites Culinary Leaders in Islamabad, Unveils Strong Vision for 2026

The Chefs’ Association of Pakistan (CAP) successfully held its General Body Meeting at Mövenpick Hotel Islamabad, bringing together leading chefs and hospitality professionals from across the country. The event was hosted by Chef Sadaqat Sohail, Vice President, Islamabad Chapter, and Chef Saira Riaz, Secretary, Islamabad Chapter, along with their dedicated team, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all attendees.

Ahmad Shafiq, Founder and President of CAP, praised the efforts of the hosts and emphasized the importance of fulfilling CAP’s Vision 2026. “Our goal is to uplift Pakistan’s culinary community to global standards. Every initiative we take, every collaboration we foster, brings us closer to achieving this vision,” he stated.

Chef Sadaqat Sohail shared his perspective on the roadmap ahead, stating, “By focusing on professional development, mentorship, and international exposure, we can ensure that Pakistani chefs are not only recognized locally but also make their mark on global culinary platforms.”

The meeting also saw participation from Chef Aamir Abbasi, Executive Member of CAP, who joined in supporting the Association’s strategic direction and praised the leadership for its continued commitment to professionalism and industry growth.

During the gathering, CAP highlighted its ongoing initiatives, including enhanced training programs, international participation, and structured certification processes for emerging culinary talent.
